where's the gusto!
worked for me and not against me. One that will have me biting off little bits at a time and not more than I can chew. It was time to make a list, prioritize and get back at it.
broom in between. However, I needed to work on trying to balance the three without taking too much time from one or the other. I had decided I need to sit down and actually write a plan, or a schedule. Which ever one will help resolve this situation. Maybe both. I admittedly ran into this kinda blind and yes, I know, that was a mistake, but I intended to learn from it.
moving on
6:00 alarm goes off - snooze once,.....ok twice
to be social
but I plan for that too. I always have a small directory of things I can post. I also decided on using only two platforms for now, Facebook & Instagram. As much as I'd love to engage on them all, realistically, I have time for 2. That was a hard one to swallow. It was humbling but important. I could literally spend all of my free time social media-ing and never creating a thing. So, I could tout being on all the platforms but have no unique content, blah and boring. BONUS: Now that I've relented other platforms I have more time for creating things to Inspire Your Smile and therefore Inspiring my own!
acceptance
Through all of this I have learned two things:
1. I don't have to do everything, all at once and 2. It's ok to accept help when needed. I don't have to create EVERY post! For whatever reason I convinced myself that unless I created something finite, digitally or otherwise, I couldn't post....where the "f" did I get that from! THIS was making this "Positive" company I was trying to build have a VERY negative impact on my life. After pouring over articles (Hubspot & QuickSprout are my faves) and enlisting the help of some helpful You tubers I realized: "I can share things I like too". I guess I just assumed that no one would really care what "liked", in fact it's quite the opposite. Adding the human element is key. we have a pwan
With things in a neat and tidy row, well it's a row anyways, where there wasn't one before, I am enjoying what I do immensely and I have more time to create, which is what makes me I'm truly happy. Oh, and my house is cleaner!! So I look forward to sharing with you all the things I'm making with my new found time!! Next post....my new addiction!
